Samsung May Refocus Growth Strategy Based On Poor Q3 Earnings

After realizing the smallest quarterly profit in more than two years, Samsung Electronics has noticed some troubles in the smartphone market. With the release of Apple's new iPhones and increased competition from other manufacturers as well, Samsung claims to have some new products in the works. With plans for new mid-range and low-end devices, Samsung hopes to maintain operating margins in the mobile market in the double-digit range.
