When outlining the growth strategy for GM, Mary Barra, CEO, explained how the company was on track to exceed growth goals by 2016.
By developing new products and technologies, GM works to resonate closely with customers and notice continued worldwide growth. Additionally, being more efficient is a primary goal as well.
When asked about how GM plans to accomplish these goals, Barra told reporters: "We have the resources. We have the technical talent. We have the global footprint. It's about execution." It's always about execution. Having the right team and resources in place is a great start, but it takes execution to truly succeed.
