Many startup companies notice similar challenges. One of the most common and most important challenges: Getting customers. It's not enough to just create a product or service you think will help people. You need to tell people about your new venture and explain why it will help.
Neil Patel, co-founder and Vice President of Marketing for KISSmetrics, explained a bit about using data to help accomplish business growth: "If you want to grow, base all your decisions on the data over opinions. When you analyze the data, you will eventually grow your business."
Additionally, Patel suggests focusing on one channel, grow it, and then expand. He believes pursuing multiple marketing channels at one time is flawed and can run the marketing department of a startup too thin.
