Job Description

An Account Manager will be expected to:
  • Manage and grow a book of business by exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings targets.
  • Own the client experience for newly signed and existing clients by delivering a positive customer experience and managing client expectations and communications.
  • Drive successful business outcomes for clients by eagerly supporting the insights team to deliver actionable content marketing recommendations and solutions based on Vennli’s research insights. Enabling others success is critical to effectively managing and growing the book of business. 
  • Ensuring we deliver client solutions on time. Will closely collaborate with the Vennli insights team to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with the VP, Customer Experience to implement and execute best practices to ensure all clients have a positive client experience.

Successful Client Relationship Management  should be an extension of you as a person:
  • It is natural for you to want to maintain weekly or bi-weekly contact with clients, serving as their advocate as well as their primary point of contact for any issues that impact success.
  • You are a strategic thinker and planner. You successfully assess & mitigate risk of contract renewals by developing retention plans and intervention strategies for your clients.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an account manager and has a proven track record for growing a book of business.

  • BA/BS degree required, MS or MBA strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management having a track record of growing a book of business
  • Proven ability to build relationships with, present to, and brainstorm with C-level executive
  • An eagerness to make marketers successful
  • Self-motivated and highly disciplined
  • Dedication to ethics, integrity, and relationship effectiveness
  • Project management experience with strong organizational & time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional phone facilitation skills & executive presence, with excellence in listening and engaging
  • Strong customer service attitude
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Demonstrate an ability to handle objections in a positive successful manner
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) databases such as and HubSpot
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams
