Sales Executive

Vennli is looking for a talented, self-motivated Sales Executive to drive new business for our technology-enabled, agile insights business. The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying their own leads and opportunities and selling Vennli’s agile insights and market research services to marketing agencies and marketers in midsize B2B and B2C organizations. We are looking for a highly confident, charismatic sales driver able to navigate effectively through all phases of the sales process from prospecting through close. The ideal candidate has previous sales experience in startups and has been successful in environments where they need to quickly learn and quickly adapt to ensure they hit their goals.


Key Outcomes

  • Achieve your individual monthly and quarterly sales goals
    • Prospect to identify new leads and drive new conversations
    • Convert leads to new opportunities in the pipeline by effectively selling the Vennli product
    • Close new business
  • Be very consistent and proactive in generating new activity - new conversations, leads, opportunities, and new business
  • Display a thorough understanding of the Vennli agile insights product and offerings and competitive advantages
  • Collaborate with leadership to help the whole team quickly learn and adapt
  • Communicate ongoing contact/sales activities through Hubspot
  • Consult with and collaborate with the client services team before finalizing solution overviews and statements of work to ensure alignment

  • Be prepared for all external and internal sales meetings bringing a sense of urgency to each meeting
  • Be detail-oriented in the execution and analysis of your weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities


  • BA/BS degree required
  • 2+ years sales experience with a track record of meeting and exceeding quota
  • Previous experience selling to marketers, selling research services, or selling consultative services
  • Demonstrated aptitude for managing sales conversations
  • Very strong personal organizational & time management skills
  • Dedication to ethics and integrity
  • Professional video conference and phone facilitation skills & executive presented, with excellence in listening and engaging a room
  • Proven ability to establish relationships at all levels of the organization, including C-level communication
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Have an active professional social media presence (at a minimum LinkedIn) with a desire to grow that presence in support of personal and Vennli objectives
